Legoland have launched a twice-weekly, virtual Build At Home Series giving thousands of Lego fans the chance to learn new skills and be entertained.

With the kids home, I’m sure they’re running you ragged and you’ve stood on too many loose Lego bricks than you would care to admit.

Well, luckily this series will keep the kids occupied for a few minutes as they learn how to build a range of different objects from the experts.

The series follows Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester’s Master Model Builder, James Windle. James has become one of only 25 Master Model Builders in the world, beating thousands who applied for the job in Manchester.

Lego, I imagine is absolutely fantastic, but I grew up on K’nex. Now there’s a toy.

But those who love Lego, really love Lego. It’s got a cult following and if your kids are already obsessed – that’s it, there’s no going back.

Luckily, the folk down at Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester are lending a hand to busy parents with 10-minute workshops talking through every step of impressive builds.

The builds are suitable for children over the age of four and obviously grown-ups. Enthusiasts can look forward to a range of new builds, including step-by-step guides of building a tortoise, plant pot and flower, bee, a unicorn and a dragon.

Master Model Builder, James Windle, added: “I never fail to be blown away by the builds of young
LEGO fans. I hope that with our Build At Home workshops we can stimulate the imaginations of
LEGO enthusiasts young and old and bring a little creative fun to the day.”
