The weather in Manchester has been crap for the last month of two (understatement) and everyone is feeling pretty blue… I know I am. So if you need a good laugh to lighten your mood (and want to raise some money in the process) then register for the Blue Run and drench yourself in colourful powder, just because! But please god, don’t wear your best clothes or trainers. You’ll spend weeks trying to get them clean.

You’d be absolutely quackers to miss out on Manchester annual Duck Race- I’ve heard its bill-iant. There will be children’s rides, food, celeb appearances and of course, two duck races, so it’ll definitely be a hit with the kids. But people of all ages are welcome- feel free to get drunk and cheer on your feathery mates.
