The campaign sees restaurants adding a voluntary £1 to diners bills or a donate a percentage of the proceeds of an item throughout September and October. The money raised will help the 13,000 children in hunger around the world.

A recent report from the UN shows that global hunger levels have risen by a third, leaving more than a quarter of the entire population without enough food to eat.

And be sure to leave that £1 on your bill – it might not sound like a lot but it equates to an entire day of food, that is life-saving and therapeutic to a child suffering from life-threatening hunger. Any more money donated goes to their family and clean water initiatives.

Amongst the restaurants that are signed up are:
Bundobust
Caramello
Dinnerstone
Fazenda Manchester
Great John Street Hotel
Hawksmoor Manchester
Iberica Manchester
Indian Tiffin Rooms
King Street Townhouse
Lunya Manchester
Mana
Pho Manchester
Shoryu Manchester
Tastt
Tattu Manchester
The Creameries
The Leadstation
Veeno Manchester

Last year this initiative supported more than 21 million people, across 47 countries and raising £3m.
