The Bridgewater Exchange Pub is the first EVER airside microbrewery in Europe and it’s opening in Manchester Airport providing an insight into how Joseph Holt makes their award-winning beer.

Opening next spring, the microbrewery will be comprised of everything you need to produce beer on a small scale. It sees the opening of Joseph Holts 127th outlet and follows the celebration of its 170th anniversary this year.

Although the menu is yet to be finalised, there’s a recipe for a Special Airport Brew with a honey base – a special little nod to the Manchester Bee as you are off on your jollies.

The microbrewery is a part of Manchester’s new Super Terminal, a £1 billion project that is set to double the size of terminal 2.

Having your 4 am pint just got a whole load classier.
