Jumping on the bandwagon of this lifestyle choice that is taking the world by storm, Bruntwood is teaming up with YFood in an attempt to put Manchester at the very heart of the global food-tech movement.
The plan is to nurture a community of Northern food industry brands, start-ups and investors in 2019 who are committed to transforming the food ecosystem and developing sustainability through innovation.
YFood is launching FoodTech Wednesdays, a series of events with this goal in mind and there is one coming up on 9th January 2018 at Leaf on Portland Street.
Joining Veganuary YFood Tech Wednesdays special event will be Fraser Williams from allplants. From their kitchen in London allplants use bold flavours and hyper convenience to bring more plants onto plates across the UK, inspiring us all to eat healthily and nourish the planet – delivering chef-made meals nationwide.
Also joining the talk will be Robbie Rees, Co-Founder of The Green Grillplant-based based eatery specialising in healthy fast food who will soon be launching The Green Butchers a range of replica meats that look, cook, taste and smell like the real thing.
Rounding out the plant-based panel will be Mark Murphy, CEO & Co-Founder of Foodomnia, a delivery-only dark kitchen business who have created several delivery food brands including newly launched, Khana – a plant-based indian food brand based out of Media City Manchester!
