There aren’t any indie-rock festivals in the North West that can challenge the calibre of music that Neighbourhood Weekender brings.

This year we have probably the biggest one yet, god-like genius Ian Brown will be headliner for the Saturday and Catfish and the Bottlemen taking the reins for the Sunday headliner.

Making up for last year’s no show the lovely Sam Fender is high up on the bill on the takes to the main stage alongside The Wombats who are back after their Summer in the City date at Castlefield last year, and local hero Miles Kane, both getting his spot in earlier on the Sunday line up.

Headlining the second stage on the Saturday we have Dublin lads Fontaines DC and Manchetser’s very own Paul Heaton. The line up on the Viola Beech stage is stacked with the best new music from across the UK, The Reytons, Noisy, Cassia, Lona, Working Mens Club. The Lathums, Gang of Youths, The Snuts, Inhaler and Sundara Karma.

For those that haven’t been the whole weekend it’s a really easy festival to get to from the city centre, only a 30 min train or taxi ride from Piccadilly, a great little festy with only minutes to walk between stages and enough good food and drink bars to try out over the weekend.

Tickets are on sale now and they are only £64.26 for the day or £121.50 for the whole weekend.
