Like most hospitality venues during this COVID-19 pandemic, The Peer Hat in the Northern Quarter is struggling.

With no events on the horizon for at least 6 months, lockdown closure and a deserted city centre – its no surpise that independent music venues are some of the worst hit – and there’s still no guarantee that they’ll be able to open once all of the dust settles.

So The Peer Hat have launched a Crowdfunder to try to stay afloat – so that fans and indeed the city’s up and coming music acts can continue to enjoy the venue in the future.

Since losing The Ruby Lounge, Roadhouse and others in recent years, it’s never been so important to support your local independent music venues – so this is the time to do it.
