It’s no secret that the food offering at Hatch is out of this world, and one of the reasons for this is that they like to keep things fresh with their pop-up street food traders.

There’s always plenty of new faces – offering an exciting new experience every few weeks. Which is why you’ll catch us at Hatch over and over again.

One of our favourite things about Hatch, however, is their immense selection of bars and entertainment.

Every Friday and Saturday night, Hatch has some of Manchester’s most exciting DJs performing and often throw massive events and unique parties in their courtyard area.

Tasked with throwing Hatch’s first party of the decade – this January saw Surco present their massive sell-out Winter Warmer event – which saw the outdoor terrace area transform into a disco spectacular with the best in house and funk.

What’s even better, you can bring any food from the Hatch traders into all of the bars and the courtyard area – so you won’t miss a thing!

We’ve listed a couple of our favourite bars at Hatch below…

ÖL Nano Brewery & Bar
The baby brother of Takk, the nano-brewery and keg bar is a collaboration with independent Levensulme brewery, Byrne the Cake. Made in-house at this tiny brewery, they’ve got some delicious homegrown brews on offer (which are usually snapped up pretty quickly they’re THAT good) alongside a broad selection of bevs from a range of local breweries.

Vin-yard
Hatch’s on-site wine experts; Vin-yard continuously updates their eclectic menu and are fighting back to the usual mass-produced vino, offering their DELICIOUS alternatives. The wine bar and shop offers vegan, organic, natural and biodynamic wines by the glass or bottle to enjoy in their cute and intimate shack.

Clubhouse
You can’t miss this place. The Tiki dive bar and live music venue is set up in the heart of Hatch and is known for serving up beer, cocktails, spirits, mixers and oppressive quantities of fun. Probably the one you keep seeing on Instagram – their interior is impressive and filled with a load of nonsense – I suppose what you’d expect from the inside of a dive bar shipping container.

Number 8
This two-story shipping container cocktail bar is complete with an open-air roof terrace decked with masses of festoon lighting and fresh greenery. Number 8’s menu is always centred around eight cocktails (crafted with locally sourced spirits and fresh botanicals) There’s DJ’s, good music and the guys often host regular events there.

Electrik Box
The distilled and perfectly curated love child of Chorlton’s Electrik bar. With plenty of booze on offer including 10 lines of draught & craft beer, you’ll find jukeboxes, pinball, arcade games, darts and of course it wouldn’t be Electrik without a weekly game of QUINGO (the perfect pop culture quiz & bingo mashup) They often have sell-out Electrik Box takeovers and host epic terrace parties.
