2 Courses for £25 and 3 for £30 with Chandon Fizz this January at 20 Stories

After Christmas, we are all in the same boat with plenty of socks and bottles of wine but very little money. I can put up with being frugal most of the time, but the one thing that does bother me is eating out.

Eating in gorgeous restaurants is what I do best, so the thought of not visiting a restaurant for an entire month is just not up for discussion.

Luckily, the restaurants of Manchester are here to help, and I think I might have found the ultimate deal of 2019.

20 Stories, Manchester’s highest most glamorous and sought-after restaurant on the top of No. 1 Spinningfields is joining the fun this year, and they have created a special menu just for January that is both stylish, delicious and kind on the old wallet.

Beautiful dishes like Smoked Mackerel Mousse, Hispi Cabbage and Kale Salad with crushed pecans and house dressing and Ham Hock Terrine grace the selection of starters section on this menu.

Mains include Scottish Mussels in a Cider Sauce, Button Mushroom and Pine Nut Linguini or the stunning Rose Veal Rib-Eye with fermented cabbage and spiced sourdough bread sauce, which is legitimately one of the most delicious main courses I have eaten this year. True story.

On to dessert, you can enjoy a Banana Caramel Choux Bun, Manchester Tart (a coconut custard mousse with fresh raspberries and toasted coconut), or Brie with Chutney and Toast. These desserts are rather difficult to choose, so it looks as if we are going to have to make three trips. What a shame.

Sounds phenomenal right? I can confidently tell you that it is, but it is just about to get better because this is where the deal comes in.

Throughout January, you can enjoy two of these courses for £25 or three for £30 with a complimentary glass of Chandon sparkling wine to wash it all down. Now if that isn’t a deal and a half and a way to get you out of your post-Christmas slump I don’t know what is.
