The Kings Street Festival has been getting some serious air time on Manchester’s Finest these last few days, but we’re happy to do it – it looks like it’s going to be a great event. One of the defining elements of the weekend will surely be Grafene who have transformed their wonderful outdoor terrace space Pall Mall Court, into a Grafene Gin Garden.

Grafene, which prides itself on its modern twist to British food, will be erecting a Sipsmith gin bar for the duration of the weekend and inviting festival revellers and passers-by to partake in outdoor games on the faux-grass lawn or relax with a delicious gin on a deckchair or picnic table.

Guests wanting a bite to eat will have the choice of eating al-fresco style on the Pall Mall terrace or inside the restaurant itself.

Pall Mall Court itself is a stylish walkway located in between Marsden Street and King Street and the festival will be the first time in living memory that the space has been used in any sort of creative way.

Kelly Wimbleton, general manager at Grafene says: “The lawn is ready to be laid and the gin is ready to be poured – we cannot wait to welcome guests to our festival Graphene Gin Garden. We are crossing our fingers for a bright weekend but we will be out enjoying the space come rain or shine in true British summertime spirit, we hope to see you there.”

The Gin Garden will be open for guests from 12.00am-8.00pm on Saturday 3 June.
