Easter saw the talented team over at Northern Monk Brewery get together with the legend that is Aunt Bessie to create a UK first. A 2-Course Sunday Roast Dinner in BEER FORM!
So they brought out two beers, a Sunday Dinner (5.7%) a Roast Dinner Brown Ale brewed using actual Aunt Bessie’s roasties and Yorkshire puds. I mean – if that doesn’t sound like the greatest thing in the world – I don’t know what is!
Well, it could be matched by their second ‘course’ – the Jam Roly Poly. A 5% Jam & Custard Pale Ale brewed with plum, apricot and strawberry. Come on now.
The beers are available to order from the Northern Monk website to be delivered straight to your doorstep. Hopefully they won’t sell out too quickly, and if they do – MAKE US MORE!
