My girlfriend will always insist that her favourite food is Chinese – which to me is a dumpable offence. Not only is it proper greasy, but she only ever orders Sweet and Sour Chicken which is packed so full of saturated fat that even that fat fella off Jerry Springer in 1996 would rethink his life choices after a portion.
We all know that the best food in the world is pizza, and there’s not much anyone can argue against it. Not only is it full of gooey, cheesy goodness, but you can put literally ANYTHING on top of it and it is still amazing. Even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would try and ruin it by putting marshmallows or Pop Tarts on their Margaritas and I would still be willing to give them a try.
So with so much pizza flapping about nowadays – to feed people’s insatiable desires – places have to start thinking outside the box and showing a bit of creativity. Welcome then to Crazy Pedro’s May special pizza – which is imaginatively named; The Surf & Turf.
Anyone who has been to a Harvester pub, or had the pleasure of eating at a TGI Friday’s on their birthday will know that Surf n Turf is typically a load of juicy meat topped with plenty of seafood.
So you’ve got Rump Steak, you’ve got Shrimp, you’ve got a lovely bit of Garlic Oil and finally – a splattering of Mustard Mayo and Parsley to tie it all together.
