Have yourself a proper-posh chippy tea at Randall & Aubin

If you were to think of the ultimate food combinations, I would bet my life’s savings (so roughly £112) that fish & chips will be on the list. And so it should be. It is safe to say that its one of the greatest things to come out of the UK since the light bulb- although I must admit I have no idea which came first.

Fish & Chips is the meal of the people. After all, there is nothing more humbling than lovely carbs, swimming in salt and wrapped in soggy paper.

But what if you’ve moved on from your dirty, greasy takeaway days and you have a taste for the finer things in life? What if you still want your Friday fish-fix, but a sad plastic fork will no longer do?

Well, that’s where Randall & Aubin step in. The swanky Bridge Street restaurant are absolute masters in all things pescatarian. Whether you are after half a dozen Scottish oysters, a slap-up chippy tea or a couple of glasses of something expensive, Randall & Aubin is fit for a queen.

Don’t believe us? Then go and see for yourself. Enjoy the prime Peterhead haddock & chips with tartar sauce & minted peas plus either a glass of pink fizz or a half a pint of premium 1936 beer Monday to Friday 3 pm to 6 pm for £12.50. That’s right, fish & chips on a plate, a proper knife and fork and a glass of champers. It doesn’t get much better than that.
