The newly remodelled pub provides the perfect location to eat, drink and party, with the finest quality pub grub and an extensive selection of beers, wines & spirits.

The Bay Horse Tavern will serve up small plates of classic British dishes full of locally sourced produce, including suckling pig, chicken and beef from the rotisserie served with fresh bread, baked in-house daily.

With the trend for small plate dining growing rapidly in the UK, diners are looking for a more social element to eating out, as small plates are shared and passed around to encourage social eating. The newly refurbished pub features a large oval dining table at the centre of the basement restaurant.

Going back to its roots, the drinks offering at The Bay Horse Tavern will be focused around locally produced beer, wines by the glass and Manchester gins paired with fruit, botanicals and tonics. From casks, kegs, bottles, cans or cocktails, the bar is fully equipped for any drinking occasion.

Designed by Lyndon Higginson, the new Bay Horse Tavern is his modern take on the humble local boozer. Higginson says “You see it in the news every week, another pub closes its doors! I hate that all these places are closing or getting turned into shit bars. We’re on a mission to bring back the local boozer. We’re so excited about The Horse.

The place was pretty grim with no redeeming features so we’ve ripped it apart and started from the ground up. It’s our modern take on the local. You can play darts or grab some amazing food, order a cask beer or get a fancy cocktail. It’s The Rovers Return meets Soho House! We just want everyone to feel at home.

The Bay Horse Tavern, located on Thomas Street in the NQ will be open daily from 11am to 1am Sunday to Wednesday and 2am Thursday to Saturday.
