Family Sundays at Hatch

An exciting new monthly family fun day at ‘Hatch’, Manchester’s intriguing new pop-up retail and leisure destination on Oxford Road.

From 12 – 6pm on the first Sunday of the month, the courtyard will play host to a free face painter, a caricaturist and Ginger’s Ice Cream Cart, alongside a weekly changing guest ‘hatchling’.

Families can also enjoy the regularly changing line up of pop-up foodie pioneers serving up diverse and delicious tastes from all over the world. The rest of the street food line-up, which will continually evolve, currently consists of some incredible independent retailers.

Eat & Sweet, the family-run Jamaican takeaway will be serving up affordable and authentic Caribbean food, while experts in gluten free Mexican-goodness. El Marchador Tacos will be plating up everything from full meals to bar snacks.

British Street Food Awards finalist Blue Caribou will be on hand with their authentic poutine – a dish from the Canadian province of Quebec consisting of French fries and cheese curds topped with gravy. And the newest addition to the street food courtyard, Oh My Glaze, will be dishing up their signature chicken and halloumi wraps and wings.

Takk espresso bar have parents who need a caffeine fix covered, while anyone looking for something a little stronger can head to craft beer haven Öl Nano Brewery & Bar. These are both set to keep Mum and Dad at sane while the little ones run riot.

The next family day at Hatch falls on 1st April which is Easter Sunday- so make sure you get down there for some bank holiday fun.
