I love New Year. There is nothing like a giant party and lots of drinking to get a brand new year off to a smashing start. Plus, a giant hangover is just the thing you need to give you the final push into actually doing your resolutions this year…
Luckily for us Mancunians, we are spoilt for choice for fantastic places to spend the last night of 2018. Whether you’re into intimate parties, nightclubbing, a lovely dinner or drinks in a chilled bar, we really have it all.
If you ask me, I think you should spend NYE, or at least the run-up to midnight, in a lovely bar, and I think I’ve found just the one.
This year, Roc & Rye is giving us a taste of things to come in 2019. They are launching their Miami Cocktail Club, which they plan to put on every Saturday next year. Expect music from their brand new, state of the art sound system and certainly a bit of dancing so we can welcome in the New Year in style.
The Pink Palace will have their resident DJ playing the latest mix of pop, RnB & party classics well into the wee hours of 2019.
Most importantly, this event will give you the opportunity to get a sneak peek* at some of the new cocktails which will be available next year at the recently re-vamped Roc & Rye. The pretty-in-pink bar has recently had a marvellous Miami-themed make-over and is set to have a magnificent cocktail menu to match.
This will be the first opportunity to taste the stunning new cocktail menu. It is safe to say we cannot wait to get our chops around them all – dry January starts on the 1st after all, so we want to get our fill.
Grab a ticket in advance to ensure entry and bag yourself a free cocktail, but don’t worry too much if you miss out as there will be free entry until 10 pm on the big night.
