In true Liars Club style, the new Tiki-inspired cocktail menu has been expertly designed in Manchester’s local oasis to liven up the gloomy feel of winter. Freshly produced from exotic ingredients with tropical garnishes, it offers a range of 21 tongue-tingling new tipples divided into three categories depending on the mood you are in.
For the Mermaids, those who love their classics, be ready to fall head over heels for easy-going tropical concoctions. The “Floridita Swizzle” is a mojito for grown-ups, a smooth little mix from the Liars Polynesian paradise.
For the Land Lubbers, the more advanced imbiber who loves their Tiki classics with a twist, delight in the “Double Shot Coconut Latte” a choco-coco caffeine explosion of Blackwell’s rum, creme de cacao, coconut milk and cream, coffee.
For the Pirates, perpetual rum-lovers, be ready to sail away to the shores of the Caribbean with serious flavoursome rum-based cocktails. The “Captains Grog” which features on the list, prevents sailors from scurvy on long voyages; adding fresh lime juice and sugar to their water and to prevent boredom, they added the ultimate Captain’s mix (5 rums, Demerara and vanilla).
The Liar’s Club also serves one of Manchester’s most extensive selections of rum from around the world, with over 100 different varieties.
Escape the city and be transported directly into Tiki heaven with these ultimate tropical concoctions. The late-night den of debauchery also offers cocktail sharers for two people up to ten – with “The Barrel Ends” you can quench the thirst of your entire ship’s crew.
