Having first opened in Didsbury back in 2012, Cocoa Cabana has become famous for its delicious home-made chocolates, extravagant cakes, beautiful afternoon teas and indulgent hot chocolates.
Now city dwellers can take a bite too as Cocoa Cabana opens in the heart of Ancoats bringing its infamous favourites along with a late-night cocktail offering.
Opening on Murray Street, Cocoa Cabana will start the day serving fresh coffee and a menu of both sweet and savoury classics from overnight oats to delicious buttermilk pancakes.
At lunch time diners can enjoy a selection of light lunch favourites alongside homemade sharing boards. For those looking for little pick me up, cakes, pastries and sweet treats, including the famous gooey brownies, will be available all day to eat in or take out.
The piece de resistance of Cocoa Cabana is their mouth-watering Chocolate Afternoon Tea offering complete with sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and award winning salted caramel, and an assortment of housemade desserts and petit four.
For chocolate lovers there’s also the Chocolate Platter, offering a selection of mallows, fruit, pretzels, brownie pieces and goodies to dip into freshly made and melted chocolate.
By dusk the venue will turn into a laid-back neighbourhood bar serving a carefully curated Cocktail Menu with highlights including the Salted Caramel Martini and Chocolate Martini alongside all the classics as well as a vast selection of beers, wines and soft drinks.
For those looking an even chocolatier experience, they’ll be both chocolate making workshops and cocktail making classes that can be booked for groups celebrating any occasion
Cocoa Cabana’s gift shop will provide the perfect spot to pick up gifts from chocolate treats including truffles, chocolate shards and flavoured slabs, to beautiful plants, candles and cards from a range of artisan suppliers.
Cocoa Cabana’s stunning homemade cakes will also be available to order and made bespoke for any occasion.
