This weekend will see the newly re-branded ‘restaurant MCR’ take over the old site, with an offering of a 6 or 12 course Tasting Menu, or a 3-course Express Lunch.

Having recently left 20 Stories, Aiden has returned to the restaurant that he started way back in 2013 with Living Ventures, and presumably aims to make it work where they failed.

Taking a look at the food and you can expect a unique and exciting menu of Modern British cuisine. Stand out dishes include a Mushroom & Jerusalem Artichoke dish which is both complex and comforting, Crisp Chicken Skins with crab and sorrel, and a fantastic Salt Aged Duck Breast with grilled blackberries and beetroot.

Other dishes include a fantastic Ribblesdale Goats’ Cheese & Onion Soup and a rich Braised Beef Cheek that comes complete with ‘Secreto’ pork and a Basque Beef Tartare.
