The fantastic Lowry theatre and art gallery down at Salford Quays are having an Open Day on Saturday 5th August giving visitors the chance to get involved in creative activities, check out the backstage and enjoy some live entertainment.
You can try your hand at sound and lighting, learn how to perform a stand-up routine, as well explore and create with backstage tours, technical and performance workshops, live acts, Q&As, taster stalls and much more!
Everyone is welcome – with all activities and events being free but you will need to book some places in advance. You will be able to book events from Monday 24th July from here.
There’s also open air circus art classes from Cirque Bordello, Pier 8 Bar and Restaurant stalls, outdoor games as well as workshops including comedy, puppetry dance, physical theatre, stage make-up and stage combat.
