Revellers in the North West will get the chance to enjoy an evening of entertainment like no other with the return of Manchester’s premier alternative club land experience, IllumiNaughty.

Taking place on November 2 at Sankeys, Manchester, IllumiNaughty Chapter XXV: Halloween Takeover, takes on a theme of devilish frivolity, showcasing an impressive line-up of international DJs from the psytrance, trance, breaks and electro scenes, and boasting specially choreographed performances from a host of popular visual artists from across the UK.

Clubbers can expect to be dazzled by an array of aerial performers, pyrotechnicians, acrobats, angle grinders, jugglers, magicians, story tellers and illusionists, all aiming to bewitch, entice and inspire.

November’s event will see headliners including Israeli psytrance legends Bizarre Contact taking to the decks, along with Serbian DJ Freaked Frequency and leading UK psy DJs Sonic Species and Far Too Loud. Performance acts include Meddling Pixies, who performed at the Olympics opening ceremony, Foolish Rogues and the Travelling Light Circus.

Clubbers can expect to be dazzled by an array of aerial performers, pyrotechnicians, acrobats, angle grinders, jugglers, magicians, story tellers and illusionists, all aiming to bewitch, entice and inspire.

Set across four rooms, boasting psychedelic decor, LED projection displays and 3D mapping laser visuals, the night promises to make an impact. Guests can also enjoy a cinema room, stalls and the venues’ unique outdoor ‘beach,’ with live fire shows taking place throughout the evening and a giant luminescent crystal light installation, which has wowed festival goers across Europe this summer.

The brainchild of Wythenshawe–born event organiser Lefteris Angelidis, IllumiNaughty is one of Manchester’s largest club nights.

Founded in 2006, the event, which at its launch played host to just 280 people at Manchester’s Zoo Club, now attracts audiences of over 2000 people, making it the single largest psytrance party outside of London.

But despite having played host to top International psytrance DJs like Talamasca, Deedrah and Vibe Tribe in the past few years; it’s not just about the music, says Lefteris.

“You don’t need to be into psytrance to enjoy Illuminaughty”.

“Our desire has always been to first and foremost entertain, offering people in the North West and beyond, an interesting alternative to what you expect from a normal clubbing experience”.

“Each event is creatively put together, each with its own theme, taking months of organisation, and offering innovative one-off choreographed artistic performances, with an eclectic mix of electronic music to get you dancing”.

“For each event we look to build on our successes, showcasing the latest sound, light and laser technologies, which all add to the show. The Halloween Takeover will be our 25th party and we are encouraging people to dress in the true spirit of Halloween and come and experience all the devilish tricks we have up our sleeves, for a truly memorable evening of music and live entertainment.”
