Delving into the epic tale and emulating the political movements leading up to the French Revolution ‘Les Mis’ tells the historical tale through theatrical musical numbers including One Day More, I Dreamed a Dream and On My Own.

Directed by Tom Hooper the musical sees a number of A-list stars such as Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe take to dramatic highs through song. With elements of romance, redemption and poverty, it’s a musical evening not to be missed.

Tickets are purchased on the evening for £3 with double deckchairs available at an extra cost.

The Screenfields 2014 season encompasses a broad range of films, from action movies and rom-coms to pure nostalgia, with firm favourites Stand By Me, Edward Scissorhands and Dirty Dancing included in the line-up. The full schedule can be found on the Spinningfields website.

The summer programme of events has always proved a massive draw at Spinningfields, attracting over 100,000 people down to the estate last year. The award-winning Lawns, with The Long Bar and Mumma Schnitzel, and new additions The Lawn Club and Wholesome and Raw, offers the perfect space to meet friends, socialise and enjoy the sunshine.
