A 4 day festival celebrating 10 Years of The Castle, Oldham.
Kasabian, Ash, Babyshambles, The Fall, The Whip, Twisted Wheel, Nine Black Alps, The Frattelis, The Chameleons, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are amongst the thousands of bands who’ve performed at The Castle in Oldham which is about to celebrate it’s 10th year with a 4 day music festival.
The Castle’s Manager Steve Jones said ” We’ve always encapsulated the spirit of rock n roll at the castle and proudly have never been a pay to play venue. We have a proud tradition of musicians working at the castle on the bar before they made it big. Dave Jones from nine black alps and now the Cribs, Danny Saville from the whip both worked here for a number of years. How better to celebrate 10 years of rock n rolling than with 4 days of it – amongst the many acts, we’re thrilled to have The Janice Granham Band and Peter Hook & The Light closing the festival.”
The festival will take place on the weekend of: 10th / 11th / 12th / 13th Nov.

best in Alternative Indie/Rock N Roll from the 50’s up until present day.
THE ABBEY INN will again be presenting JUKEBOX BREAKDOWN in the Terrace Room on the Friday playing all the best in Alt-Metal / Rock / Emo.
DJ’s COL / BENSON / ALEX HOLT / ZACKY SHPIEL will be tearing it up all night in the terrace.
