If you haven’t been lucky enough to get tickets for the gig itself, or in fact ever seen Hot Chip live, then you’ll have a second chance to dance ‘til you drop at their after party at Yes. With Joe the guitarist as one half of 2 Bears and singer Alexis who is pretty well known for spinning some fantastic tunes (notably his Prince tribute that has graced La Discotheque floors), you’re in for a proper treat.

Love Dose Records: Manchester Takeover @ Various venues
Thursday 18th April
Three venues. Four genres. A UK live first for Rabbithole. One big massive headache on Good Friday. Yet, what a way to start Easter weekend. Love Dose records will be pre-partying at Stage and Radio (a free warm up session), then it’s on to Hidden for Rabbithole and then to top it all off, after party at the White Hotel. You can buy individual tickets for each event or buy a pass to go to all three.

World’s largest B2B DJ relay @ Joshua Brooks
Thursday 18th April
And now for something completely different, and no you haven’t read it wrong. What better place to start a world record for the most DJ’s to play back-to-back than Manchester’s own Chemical Brothers’ very first place of residency. The rules are each DJ plays one record and then has 4 minutes from entering the booth to mix the next record in, transition and hand over to the next DJ and to achieve a continuous mix throughout. I’m both nervous and excited, good luck!
