British ‘power-pop’ band Cats in Space are going on tour and they are stopping off at Manchester Academy for one night only.

Cats in Space is a British “power pop” rock band formed in Horsham, West Sussex in 2015 by guitarist Greg Hart and drummer Steevi Bacon.

Following the band’s inception, vocalist Paul Manzi, keyboardist Andy Stewart, bassist Jeff Brown and second guitarist Dean Howard were recruited to complete the official lineup.

‘Cats in Space’ is a rock band armed with an exciting brand of ‘New Classic Rock’, with more hooks than a crane factory!

They have been Special guests on legendary UK rockers 2017 ‘Thunder’ sell-out UK tour. Openers to Phil Collins at Hyde Park BST 2017. Special guests on five UK arena dates for Deep Purple’s 2017 ‘Long Goodbye’ World tour… and, special guests on Status Quo’s 2017 ‘Plugged In’ UK tour.

The band released their first single from the album on 24 August 2015 via YouTube, named “Mr Heartache’ which debut on their album Too Many Gods. Cats in Space announced their second album, the follow-up to critically acclaimed debut album Too Many Gods titled Scarecrow, with an official release date of 25 August 2017.

Tickets are released Friday 9th November at 10 am.
