OUTER CIRCLE  FAC251 25/02/2011

With a reputation for showcasing the cities finest when it comes to up and coming musical talent, THE FACTORY is once again playing host to Manchester’s latest indie offering.

Tonight, the legendary club sees OUTER CIRCLE play their first headline gig since getting together late last year. Fear not however, this isn’t amateur hour, frontman Sean Gilroy is a former band member of The Drainpipes and Rum Diamond. Having recently played at the Ruby Lounge alongside Shanty Town and Advent 3, this is only their third gig but not one to be missed, the four-piece creating somewhat of a stir with their track ‘See You When You Choke’. Gilroy’s vocals take you back to the rock ‘n’ roll era of the 1960s, whilst their catchy guitar riffs and energetic drumbeats are lent from a time when The Strokes were young, and Kings Of Leon were still cool.

For such young guns they have a sophisticated air of nostalgia about them, yet remain refreshing whilst delivering catchy tunes in abundance. These guys are ones to watch.

Outer Circle play FAC251 tonight.
