“The city’s innovative Box of Tricks… First class” – British Theatre Guide
Following the success of last year’s event, Box of Tricks returns to 2022NQ to curate Counter Culture Club: a micro-festival of live independent arts. Expect the unexpected: live music, theatre, comedy, spoken word, art and DJ’s for a one-night-only extravaganza in the Northern Quarter’s coolest creative space.
The jam-packed line-up includes: nu-folk performers Lizzie Nunnery and Vidar Norheim , poet Katie Bonna , theatre-makers Oscar Mike and Façade Theatre, cabaret soloist Sophie Willan, sketch comedy troupe So On and So Forth, art collective Generic Greeting, purveyors of spoken word Bad Language, singer-songwriter Kid Katharsis and art installation The Reading Room.
