So we’ve thought of an idea to get the ultimate experience from some of our favourite Manchester artists whilst everyone’s stuck in quarantine – Home Concerts – where each week we’ll be broadcasting intimate performances from their bedrooms, living rooms and home studio setups.

We’re looking to do at least one performance a week, scheduled every Tuesday at 7.30pm, but for the next two week’s there will also be a Friday performance.

Home Concerts:
Josh Noble of Larkins

Friday 24th April, 7.30pm on Manchester’s Finest Facebook Live

Home Concerts is kicking off with the front man of Manchester band Larkins. Currently supposed to be out on their UK tour after returning home early from their first tour of the US, Josh is treating us to an acoustic gig from his Northern Quarter flat. Larkins have re-scheduled the tour for later this year including a headline gig at Manchester Academy. They’re also currently teasing new material over on their Instagram, including a call out to fans to get involved in their community.

PROSE

Friday 1st May, 7.30pm on Manchester’s Finest Facebook Live

Hip Hop/Acoustic/Indie duo, Michael Murray & Lee Royle, draw similarities to the Streets and Plan B, with a touch of melodic ‘lad’ rock that takes its cues from fellow Mancunians Oasis and Ian Brown. In 2016 they released their debut album ‘Home of the Brave’ which drew radio play from BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and in 2018 they collaborated with the Manchester Survivors Choir to release their song ‘A City United’, in direct response to the Manchester Arena bombing attack, raising money for the charities and families involved.

Now they’re gearing up for the release of their new EP ‘Empty Hands’ on 1st May, in-line with their Home Concert performance for us, and they’ll be performing it in it’s entirety. You can catch their brand new title track from the EP here.

Although primarily recognised for his Grime music, K.I.M.E (King In My Element) is equally as fluent on Rap/Hip Hop sounds and wouldn’t limit himself to any one genre. He is well known for his razor-sharp delivery and hard hitting lyrics. He often operates alone but as of recent times has forged a deadly alliance with fellow Mancunian artist P1Caps who he released a joint Grime EP with entitled ‘ShellyAnn Season’ which you can find on all major streaming platforms.
