Colour returns to Sankeys with Ben Sims and Paul Mac

One of Manchester’s longest-running, and most respected techno institutions opens up shop for the first time in too long this Friday. Better yet, they’ve bagged a lineup of revered veterans and rising stars to help things go off.

So Colour arrives at Sankeys tomorrow- Friday, November 4th- and seems intent on rolling out some tough old beats, all night long. Decade spanning hero Ben Sims, who finally got round to releasing his debut album on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode last month, headlines under the Killa Productions banner, and is joined by long-standing production partner Paul Mac.

Elsewhere relative newbie Tommy Four Seven also turns in an appearance, which should be worth checking what with the British-born Berlin resident’s catalogue of releases on labels such as David Duriez’s Brique Rouge and, more recently, Chris Liebing’s CLR, which is where work from Monoloc can also be found- another young chap who’ll be playing records on the night in question. Tickets available here, full details below, and if Facebook’s your forte follow this link.
