Everyone knows all about The Twisted Wheel Club – the birthplace of Northern Soul and revolutionary nightclub that opened in the city in the 60’s.
What some people might not know about is their legendary ‘All-night sessions’ which were held each Saturday from 11pm right through until Sunday at 7.30am.
Well the new home of the Twisted Wheel, Night People, have decided to bring it back this Friday 6th July for an all-nighter of epic proportions.
They’ve managed to secure a line-up of some of the country’s best Northern Soul DJ’s including:
- Pete Roberts
- John Green
- Jock Heron
- John Kane (Bbc Radio)
- Andy Scoffin
- Derek Smiley
They’ll also be bashing out the Bacon Butties at 6am – something everyone can appreciate after a night on the talcum powder.
