808 State's Graham Massey is heading to Electrik's One Deck Wednesday this week

Every Wednesday at Electrik you can find some of the finest record collectors and crate diggers, who are invited down to play whatever they want in entirety with no mixing, headphones, scratching or beat juggling, it’s strictly just about the music.

Each month they have a super special guest, and this week’s November music maestro is none other than Mr Graham Massey.

Pretty much a bonafide Manchester music legend, Graham is a founding member of 808 State and a pioneer of the whole acid house movement.

So you can expect a fair whack of acid house to come pouring out of Graham’s box of vinyl, alongside a selection of some more obscure and slightly left field choices I’m sure. One thing we can all agree on – it’s likely to get messy.

The last time Massey played at Electrik there were some serious roadblock scenes and so they’re expecting more of the same this time. My advice – get there early!
