Kraftwerk|19 June|The Bridgewater Hall 
Iconic electronic pioneers Kraftwerk have left their mark on genres from electropop to Detroit techno to hip-hop and EDM. Artists from New Order to Madonna have sampled them; David Bowie named his song V2-Schneider after one of the founder members, and Coldplay have used their melodies. They are legends within the industry and make a rare trip to our island doing an 11 date tour. We will see the quartet take their 3D multimedia concert to Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. It will be a work of Art for anyone lucky enough to get tickets.

 

Everything Everything|20 June|Albert Hall
The local lads formed in 2007 and havent taken their foot of the gas since, the 4 piece boast three albums to date and have recently announced another to be released in August, as well as unveiling new song ‘Cant Do. The bands electronic pop ‘Kemosabe’ and ‘Cough cough’ will be lodged in your head for weeks to come. They play to a sold out Albert Hall on Tuesday..

 

Paramore|18 June|Apollo
American rock trio from Tennesse return with original member Zac Farro on drums after a 6 year absence. They released their new album ‘After Laughter’ in May which is their 5th studio album. Hard to put a genre on their sound with it covering emo, pop-punk, grunge and rock; all heavily inspired by 80s new wave. It will be high energy with moshing from start to finish, you will know you’ve been to a gig when you leave. Its another sell out so have a look out for tickets.

 

Eliza and the Bear |21st June|Soup Kitchen
The London quintet Eliza and the Bear return to Manchester after playing the academy last year, since then the band’s sound has matured and their confidence has grown. Their self-titled album bears similarities with The 1975, Lumineers, arcade fire feel. New album ‘Higher’ is to be released on the 16th June, give it a listen and get to soup kitchen for an affordable midweek outing. Tickets here.
