Pins | 22 April | The White Hotel
Yet another talented band emerging from Manchester, Pins are all female punk rock band who formed in 2011 and released their debut ‘Girls Like Us’ in 2013. The four-piece are now touring their second album ‘Wild Nights’ and album features a track with legend Iggy Pop. The Manchester quartet played BBC Radio 6 Music live in sessions this week; PINS at The White Hotel is going to be a gig not to miss.

Rag’n’Bone Man | 22 April | Academy
Rory Graham’s is touring his debut album ‘Humans’ he brings his powerful voice that we are all familiar with to a sell-out gig at Manchester’s Academy on Saturday. Keep an eye out for tickets.

 

Ed Sheeran | 22 & 23 April | Arena
This year’s Glastonbury headliner Ed Sheeran is touring with his third album ‘Divide’ He is plays two packed out shows at Manchester’s Arena. Since making his first massive dent on the charts with the ‘A Team’ in 2011, Ed has become the country’s most successful solo artist with hit single after hit single and multi platinum selling album after multi platinum selling album.

 

China Lane | 24 April | Revolution De Cuba
China Lane are playing yet another gig in Manchester this time at Revs’ De Cuba, If you missed them a couple of weeks ago at the Academy get yourself to this one, they are a great band live and certainly one to watch out for.

 

Jaws | 24 April | Club Academy
The indie pop band JAWS from Birmingham are playing a gig at Manchester’s Club Academy, they are slowly building a reputation for their live performances with lots of high energy and wildness. The four ‘brumy’ lads have a sound similar to bands such as; Circa Waves, Sundara Karma, Blossoms, if you are into them, go and check them out, tickets are still available.

Rationale | 26 April | Gorilla
Rationale, the stage name of Tinashe Fazakerleyhas just released his latest project, an EP entitled ‘Vessels’. He sings with his soft, silky flawless voice over upbeat, steady synth beats, the Zimbabwe born musician brings his unique sound to Manchester, playing Gorilla on April 26.
