Head for the Hills, formerly Ramsbottom Festival, is an award-winning music festival, now in its 7th year, which takes place at the Ramsbottom Cricket Club.

This year Head for the Hills will feature five live music stages, activities and workshops and an engaging children’s programme. Maximo Park join previously announced artists, The Stranglers, Beth Orton, Manchester band Dutch Uncles and Ska legends, the Neville Staple Band on the festival’s much anticipated 2017 arts and music programme.

In previous years the festival has attracted The Proclaimers, Idlewild, Sinead O’Connor, Roddy Frame, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Public Service Broadcasting, Gaz Coombes and Richard Hawley and last year managed to attract 12,000 visitors.
