Almost two years since the launch of Junkyard Golf Club in its native home of Manchester, and following the rapid expansion of this unique concept into London, they’ve have announced they have outgrown their current space at Piccadilly Place and are moving to First Street.

Taking on a prominent site at First Street, with neighbours including Home, Gasworks and Liquor Store, Junkyard Golf Club will host its final rounds of golf at the current Piccadilly Place venue on August 20th, with the new venue being ready for play on August 24th 2017, when the site will officially launch.

The team behind the golf venue have promised to take the concept to the next level – with more courses, bigger and more dramatic immersive environments and refreshed food and drinks offers. The format remains the same with the craziest of 9 hole golf courses, snack food and much-loved party style cocktails, but fans will now be able to experience bigger, better and wilder junk-filled golf courses and bar environments.

Junkyard Golf director, Chris Legh says: “We were looking for a bigger, permanent space, that could fit all our mad ideas and we came across this site and it’s in a perfect location. First Street is an exciting new hub for food, booze and we always tend to find ourselves at the forefront of the most happening new areas.

Along with the growth of the brand in Manchester, Junkyard Golf Club continues to build its name across the UK, with national expansion already under way. Following on from the success of the brand’s London Truman Brewery space, Junkyard has already secured a site in Oxford which will be opening later in 2017.
