From Ibizan vibes to Wimbledon centre court action, and courtyard sets from resident DJs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, Hatch has something for everyone. Here’s what’s coming up.

Nordic Muse moves in

If you’re looking for beautiful, bespoke gifts or planning to splash out on a little summer treat, come and visit Nordic Muse jewellers. Inspired by the minimalism and functionality of Nordic design, the simple and refined collection features minimalist necklaces, stacked rings and geometric pieces, as well as scented candles and gift cards.

Oh My Gilly sets up shop (now open!)

Hatch has welcomed a brand new independent vintage fashion boutique to its home under the Mancunian Way. Offering a treasure trove of one-off or limited edition garments and accessories, Oh My Gilly has a host of retro treasures to excite Manchester fashionistas with vintage clothes, vintage-inspired hats, headscarves and hairbands.

As well as providing on-site alterations, you can create your own customised denim jacket in-store so you stand out from the crowd. Check out the exquisite collection at this four-week pop up to see how you can add a touch of independent style and inspiration to your summer wardrobe.

Stutter & Twitch bring the fun

Good news for vinyl lovers. Independent record label Stutter & Twitch are bringing their love of music to Hatch and opening their very own record shop. Expect gigs, exhibitions and general fun times in their intimate space.

British Cycling Let’s Ride
Sunday 1st July, 11 am – 4 pm 

Pedal to Hatch and celebrate this fantastic annual event with the family. Find some limited edition hatchlings in the courtyard, including a Thai ice-cream roll cart and face painting. Or just sit back, enjoy a beer and take in the atmosphere as 15,000 families cycle through the city and along Oxford Road.

Cheese Club MCR @ ÖL 
Thursday 5th July, 7 pm-10 pm 

Love cheese? Beer? Look no further. On its second edition Cheese Club digs further into the wonders of local British cheeses and has curated 5 of the best they can find in the country, whilst ÖL brewery have expertly tried a lot of beers to find the best suitable matches. Tickets cost £25 each which includes 5 cheeses and crackers plus their matching 5 beers.

Wimbledon screen in the courtyard
Monday 2nd-Sunday 15th July 

Catch all the thrills and spills of Wimbledon live in the Hatch courtyard – game, set and match the best place to watch the action, as you can chow down on artisan street food and craft beer at the same time!

Balearic Summer BBQ
Saturday 7th July, 2 pm- late

Street food, soul, reggae and funk are on the menu this July as Hatch hosts an amazing summer BBQ. Head down for some serious vibes as music fills the courtyard and the Hatch street food traders join forces to prepare an array of delicious dishes on a giant BBQ grill. DJs include Zacc Rogers and Pasta Paul.

Bee in the City trail goes live (Monday 23rd July)

Manchester’s Bee in the City trail will be hitting the streets and Hatch is proud to unveil its own Hatch bee. Designed by Manchester artist and graphic designer Kim Hubball, it is titled ‘My Heart Belongs in this Place’ and pays homage to Manchester’s worldwide reputation as a cultural hub, as well as its dynamism, resilience and optimism.

Keep an eye out for family friendly workshops at Hatch during the eight week trail including the chance to screen print your own tote bag under the expert guidance of Kim.

At the end of July, it’s all change and Hatch will see the next line-up of mouth-watering street food sellers move into the courtyard. Expect a whole new range of new flavours including a taste of Manila in Manchester…and if you’ve not yet tried food from the current line up of Yadda Yadda, Holy Crab, Well Hung or Firebird Hope, don’t sleep!
