Supermodel Lily Cole with Manchester City stars at this years Fashion Kicks charity fundraiser.

Supermodel Lily Cole took to the catwalk with Manchester City stars who traded their football boots for something a bit more stylish at this years Fashion Kicks charity fundraiser.

Selfridges supplied this season’s stunning designer collections to the aspiring models from Manchester City Football Club who were put through their paces by international model Lily Cole.

The event was hosted by Manchester City and Republic of Ireland International goalkeeper Shay Given and his wife Jane as they set to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support, Beechwood Centre for Cancer Care in Stockport and the ‘Adopt a School’ project. The entertainment for the evening was provided by singing sensation Alexandra Burke.

Lily Cole who modeling an exquisite Alexander McQueen dress, said “I’m really excited to be a part of Fashion Kicks as it is always important to raise awareness and money for worthy charities, and it’s great that so many people are dedicating their time to the event”

Shay Given himself modelled two looks including D Squared Navy Bomber Jacket, D Squared Check Polo Shirt and Denham Jeans. Teammate and England goalkeeper Joe Hart modelled a Belstaff Jacket, Marc by Marc Jacobs Khaki Shirt and J Brand Jeans. w.

Football Stars Steve McManaman, Kevin Davies, Kevin Kilbane, Gary Speed and Kenny Daglish all attended to the event to show their support for Fashion Kicks.

Westlife’s Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan travelled to the event at Lancashire Cricket ground to support fellow Irishman Given. Boxer Amir Khan, Coronation Street’s Michelle Keegan, Brooke Vincent, Jennie McAlpine, Graeme Hawley and Hollyoaks Clare Cooper, Emmitt Scan, Stephanie Davis, Jessica Fox , Anna Shaffer,Bronagh Waugh and Jorgie Porter attended in support of the worthy causes.

All funds raised on the night will be distributed between the aforementioned charities. In its eight year history, Fashion Kicks has raised more than £900,000 for worthy causes. Jane and Shay hope that this event has enabled them to crash through the £1m barrier.
