In the much-anticipated lead-up to its opening on the 18th May, luxury boutique hotel Dakota has partnered with renowned Manchester street photography collective, The Mancorialist, to capture the city’s most stylish individuals.
Located on Ducie Street, close to Piccadilly Station, Dakota boasts 137 luxury bedrooms, including 27 suites. And the penthouse suite, named the Grand Deluxe, is set to be the largest and most elegant suite in the city.
The minds behind Dakota chose Manchester for their next location because they felt the city resonated with their ethos, and they want to delve into what the city is about even more. Dakota wants to showcase the people that make Manchester unique and they intend to find out what that signature Mancunian style is all about.
On Saturday 13th April, The Mancorialist will be scouring the streets of Manchester, scouting out stylish individuals who embody the very nature of Dakota – people who evoke a classic and timeless elegance that never goes out of style.
In line with Dakota’s ‘Manchester, I Like Your Style’ campaign, some of the city’s iconic faces have been photographed by The Mancorialist to mark the launch of the Dakota brand into Manchester. These faces include the likes of Sacha Lord, David Jayet-Laraffe, Asiya Durrani, Ross Parlane, DJ Paulette, Pasta Paul, Domain Esdale, Elizabeth Cardwell and Giorgia Renata.
The Mancorialist will be on the hunt to capture Manchester’s fashionable folk throughout the day, with some being featured on the hotel’s Instagram channel. Lucky individuals who are posted on their feed will also be invited to dine at The Dakota Grill which is set to be Manchester’s newest, vibrant neighbourhood brasserie.
To be in with a chance of being captured by The Mancorialist, get your glad-rags on this Saturday and head into the city centre of Manchester between 12 pm – 3 pm.
