As someone who has been cutting my own hair for the past 8 years I don’t really have much experience of recent developments in the salon world.
When I was getting my hair cut it was all about combs in that blue liquid, reading a two year old issue of Top Gear magazine and getting a couple of free condoms on the way out. But looking at TRAMP, a new hair boutique in Stockport – lots has changed and they are hoping to make huge waves in the styling world.
Owners Kristian Evans and Naomi Graham have previously worked their scissor talents on many a famous scalp at many a massive event from Amy Winehouse to Noel Fielding, Agyness Deyn to The Libertines and key events such as London Fashion Week, The BRIT Awards & The Bafta’s. But they’re now looking for a new challenge and have returned to Naomi’s hometown of Stockport, the place they call home – to open TRAMP.
Located on the ‘Little Underbank’ in Stockport and bursting with colour and vibrancy, TRAMP aims to be unique, innovative and oozes warmth and creativity. It looks to be a boutique salon which transmits a shot of Rock n Roll alongside exceptional knowledge and service, as well as “creating Cool Cats, Sex Kittens & Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”.
You’ll also be pleased to know that TRAMP will be using products that mirror their ethos, be assured that they only use the highest quality brands that care about your hair, containing no parabens or sulphates, all recyclable and cruelty free.
From the pictures it looks great, and if I finally decide to let all of my worries slide and allow another human being to touch me and cut my hair then I’d have to get myself down to Stockport and give them a try.
