To say MANA is ambitious is an understatement of epic proportions. The offering is a seasonal 16-course taster menu served in an hour and 45 minutes which is made using the finest, strictly British produce.
With an extensive testing and development process, MANA makes a serious attempt to understand their ingredients and deliver them to you in a way which we feel best represents their identity and essence.
MANA also aims to move away from the stuffy, austere associations that come with the term ‘fine-dining’. The point of MANA is to rediscover everything that’s been forgotten about Britain’s indigenous produce and ingredients and to then move forward with that knowledge.
The restaurant sets out to be progressive and move things forward. MANA also aims to be accessible and is not solely reserved for some elite group of ‘gastronomes’.
The space is simple, spacious and most importantly, relaxed which creates a wonderful habitat in which to enjoy the food.
Speaking of the food, the set menu will cost £95 per person, which is a reflection on the quality of the ingredients, knowledge, technique and passion which will go into every atom of every dish. Let me assure you that with that price tag, comes quality.
The menu is set to change constantly which will both complement and utilise the season’s bounty, but also enable the MANA team to consistently enable their own creativity and evolution.
From October to November, for example, MANA will be serving the Fall menu which focuses predominantly on wild game, early season shellfish and a cornucopia of the forest.
Bookings are going faster than you can say, well, anything- but if you are quick off the mark on the 1st November you can make bookings for December, January and February.
