Even though it’s only existed for around 7 months, the little cafe space at the bottom of the escalators in the Arndale centre has changed hands a couple of times already.

Once a Prosecco bar, it’s now been taken over by the team behind the Ancoats General Store and the brilliant new Stretford Food Hall in the guise of ‘KIOSK‘ – a cafe/bar that specialises in local food and drink.

There’s a packed menu of cakes, pastries, sandwiches and snacks, all sourced from local sources – such as the delicious looking sandwiches and soups from Soop available at the moment.

They’re promising an ever-changing ‘curation’ of locally produced food, working closely with the best independent suppliers the city can offer. This also reflects in the range of coffee, soft drinks and alcohol on offer behind the bar too.

So, you’ll find the likes of Steep Soda, Ancoats Coffee, Manchester Gin, Salford Rum, Moss Cider, Manchester Union Lager alongside Kiosk’s own specially created cocktail cans, local teas by Bohea and a selection of wines and fizz.

Kiosk is open now, Monday to Friday from 9am until 8pm, Saturday 9am until 7pm and Sunday 11.30am until 5.30pm.
