Not content with being one of the best events spaces in the world, as well as being this year’s must-visit foodie destination, Escape to Freight Island have decided to organise a brand-new festival – ready for when this COVID-19 pandemic is all done and dusted.
KANTINA is certainly giving us something to look forward to whilst stuck in lockdown – and even though details are the moment are scarce – it already looks set to be the biggest blow out party of 2021 so far.
A full Food & Drink Weekender, KANTINA is set to take place on the end of May Bank Holiday (29th – 31st) and promises “next level food and drink collaborations” and to be “a feast for the city and beyond.”
Poised to be an opportunity to finally come together after more than a year with restrictions, KANTINA will celebrate the depth, diversity and joy of food – showcasing the culinary talents of Escape to Freight Island whilst introducing more of the UK’s biggest and best chefs, cocktail makers, brewers and street food heroes.
A full-on Food & Drink Festival, you should expect not just an already impressive line-up of restaurants and eateries – from Baratxuri to Jane Eyre, but also special guests and visiting establishments – plus a few star-shaped collaborations and pop-ups! If you catch my drift.
As is usually the case with Freight Island – this one will be popular – so you should get yourself booked in as soon as is actually possible.
Tickets for the KANTINA Weekender are £35 per person, all of this is fully redeemable as food credit which you can spend on tasty food and drinks during your booking.
Once you book, you’ll receive an email confirming your arrival times and details of claiming your credit.
