There. Done that? Look bloody delicious don’t they?! Well, these are the delights from Saddleworth Brownies, a lockdown endeavour that’s pretty much blown up since starting back in July.
Run by Jessica and her partner Amy, Saddleworth Brownies was born during the closing days of the first lockdown in 2020, and since then they’ve gone from strength to strength delivering and posting an enticing range of brownies, cookies and other baked delights.
They’ve even been supplying local cafes and locations across Manchester, Saddleworth, Tameside and Huddersfield – including Feel Good Club in the Northern Quarter.
“We spend the majority of our time in the kitchen baking which has always been a huge passion of ours and we are absolutely loving it! The engagement we have had from our customers has been incredible from new flavour ideas to just general support. We have definitely made some long life friends on this already very young journey.”
All of the brownies and cookies are made with locally sourced products, with an impressive variety and range of flavours on offer, including options for vegans and gluten free.
You can order yourself a box of 6 Mixed Flavour Brownies for £15 or a box of 4 Mixed Cookies for £12. Or there’s their Brownie Fondue Box with 3 dips for £15 – perfect for a night in during lockdown.
Saddleworth Brownies are also trying to be as green as possible, so all of their delivery boxes are recyclable, and they are currently working with Rainforest Alliance to become certified.
