Confession time. Last Friday I got so drunk after work that I bought two Whoppers from Burger King, took them home on the tram, lost one, ate the other on the sofa and then fell asleep on the floor.
All thanks to Elnecot.
Well, okay – it’s not ALL Elnecot’s fault. It’s definitely more my fault and my atrocious will power. I saw a load of booze at pretty much unbeatable prices and I went too far. Story of my life really.
For everyone else who isn’t a complete glutton though, you can wholeheartedly enjoy an afternoon and evening of beer, wine, cocktails and fizz, and there’s even a DJ on to give everything that much-desired ‘VIBE’.
Every Friday from 3pm – 7pm, Elnecot’s Happy Hour enables you to have a pint of ShinDigger for £3, all cocktails 2-4-1 and £10 bottles of house wine and fizz – in this case the rather excellent Cremante – a French Sparkling Wine which is massively popular in all of those cool Parisian cafes and is essentially exactly the same as Champagne – just not from the Champagne region. For a tenner!
For this Bank Holiday Weekend, they’ll be hosting DJ Craig Campbell on Friday, playing funk, disco and house from 5pm – 10pm.
In addition, Elnecot’s legendary Bottomless Brunch will be extended to include Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday – giving you more opportunities to get one of their amazing brunch dishes down you with endless fizz. Also – let’s not forget their EPIC Roast Dinner on Sunday!
Finally, this weekend will also see them make a special Stonewall Daquiri, and for every one sold they’ll donate £1 to Stonewall UK.

The Happy Hour at Elnecot is perfect for walk-ins, but if you want Bottomless Brunch (or a Sunday Roast) you should probably get yourself a table booked below…
(Just don’t go too far like I did last week – I’m still paying for it now)
