The Avenue – Manchester’s luxury style quarter, is celebrating exclusive new arrivals for Spring/Summer 2013. Home to some of the world’s leading designers, next season’s hottest picks are already appearing within The Avenue’s stores.

With exclusivity and luxury at the core of The Avenue’s ethos, Spinningfields has an array of stores, salons and restaurants, including Emporio Armani, Mulberry, Flannels, Oliver Sweeney, L.K.Bennett, Ted Baker Pashion, DKNY Men, AllSaints, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Kurt Geiger, jeweller Phillip Stoner, boutique florist David Wayman, Nicky Clarke, The Oast House and new addition, New York inspired restaurant, Neighbourhood.

The Avenue is proud to be able to showcase such a huge variety of next season’s new trends, including the likes of Emporio Armani’s SS13 Mediterranean collection, which exudes the fresh and vital physicality evocative of the Italian lifestyle. L.K. Bennett will be focusing on the Bauhaus movement, with a real emphasis on colour blocking alongside the use of simple yet sophisticated silhouettes and Oliver Sweeney has created a plethora of colourful casuals and formals in suede and leather.

The Mulberry store plans to transport customers back to the brand’s 1970s roots with a real focus on their British heritage origins. Featuring a hazy summer palette of luscious fresh sorbet colours with the covetable luxury of Mulberry’s rural English craft heritage, the collection is heavily inspired by the nostalgia of the decade combined with the laid-back vibe of ethereal California girls. Their soft accessories, spectacular luggage and striking clothing collection has already proven hard to resist, with a number of key pieces already in high demand on the waiting list.

Across The Avenue, iconic American brand, Brooks Brothers, offer an array of preppy casual styles and American traditions. For Spring/Summer 2013, Brooks Brothers is inspired by sand and sea with Nautical references being the source of inspiration; the 1950’s sailing regattas, classic palette of red, ivory, and navy infused with royal blue and vicuna and the spirit of the sea. The women’s collection is equally timeless and modern and reflects a more elegant interpretation of sportswear.

Exclusively available on The Avenue, outside the capital, the new Langley and Phormal collections will be introduced at Ted Baker Pashion. Rapidly becoming one of Britain’s favourite unique evening wear brands, for SS13 Ted has added a contemporary twist on the traditional trend with the use of bright, bold colours and elegant silhouettes. Sticking with the same theme, menswear is a smart yet eclectic collection featuring Ted’s signature quirky edge.

The Avenue has fast become Manchester’s number one destination for fashion followers and shoppers alike. Having recently appointed an onsite personal stylist, customers can now enjoy a personal shopping experience to ensure they get first pick of the season’s hottest trends.
