Celebrate The Welcome at Aviva Studios with a series of free events featuring creative workshops, artist talks and kids activities. The Community Takeover events seek to showcase the diversity of Manchester’s creative and community organisations which make up the foundations of the city.
Try a new skill with one of the free workshops led by local creatives, learn about radical artists with the Inclusive Art History Club or recycle your favourite garment with an upcycling session. There’s also opportunity for chill time, with relaxing, quieter activities like film screenings, panel discussions and a well-being walk.
