Europe’s biggest Irish festival returns to Manchester on Friday 8 March, kicking off a 10 day-long takeover of the city region. The festival encompasses 200 events, including the legendary annual parade, as well as live music, dancing and 12-hour St Patrick’s Day party.
At the heart of the celebration, the Irish Parade will take place on Sunday 10 March, starting at the Irish World Heritage Centre in Cheetham Hill. Snaking through the city streets, the parade completes its circular route back at the centre, followed by the customary celebrations.
