So, what are Don Giovanni offering? Well, let’s talk about their Lunch Menu…
It’s available every weekday between 12pm and 3pm, perfect for you to run out of work and get some actual good grub, and waddle back to the office. The menu, ‘Pranzo Specialé’ can fix just about any day’ I’m talking Monday blues, hump day gloom and it can even make that Friday excitement even better.
It’s that good.
On the menu is just enough Italian classics to make you believe you’re on the Amalfi coast, not Oxford Street. Starting at 1 course for just £7, or 2 courses for £12 it will definitely slap a smile on your face.
To begin, choose from the delicious seafood classic, Calamari Fritti, the cheesy goodness that is Caprese or a refreshing Insalata di Cesare (Caesar Salad). There’s also a soup of the day, perfect to warm up or light and tasty Bruschetta Pomodoro.
I would consider it sacrilege to go to an Italian and not order pizza, I’m sorry but it just is.
Luckily there are two choices on the Secondi menu, a mini chicken pizza served with mushroom and chilli, Pizzette Pollo or a mini white pizza with courgettes, cherry tomatoes, peppers and spinach, Pizzette Primavera.
Of course, if pizza’s not your thing, you can opt for pasta or rice, including Ravioli Aragosta, lobster bisque or Risotto Funghi a creamy and mushroom risotto.
There are also some large dishes such as Filetti di Branzino, a sea bass fillet served with fresh spinach and Minuto Bistecca, British Minute Steak served exactly as it should be with peppercorn sauce and fries.
