Once again, January has reared its ugly head and blessed us with a freezing cold climate, Christmas guilt and a gym membership. Three things that need to be banished to Room 101 immediately.

It’s a tough time of year for everyone, but especially for the hospitality industry as the post Christmas wallet isn’t looking particularly healthy, and fads such as Veganuary and Dry Jan are adopted, meaning no one fancies a night out on the lash.

But, there’s plenty of us not taking notice of the new year and any resolutions that come with it, SO if you’re looking for somewhere to wine and dine, The Refuge is offering a very generous 50% off until the end of January.

The offer will run in the Dining Room from Monday – Wednesday for advanced bookings only and there’s loads of amazing dishes for you to choose from!

Chargrilled Cauliflower with harissa and pomegranate

They’ve got Gochujang Fried Chicken Wings (£5.50/£2.75 with the discount), Lamb Shawarma (£9.50/£4.75), Crispy Whitebait with dill aioli and lemon (£5.50/£2.75) and Whole Roasted Sea Bass with a garlic and almond crumble (£35/£17.50).

And, if you’re veggie or vegan there’s something for you, too! You can choose from a range of dishes including the Chickpea Daal (£5.50/£2.75), Beetroot Pakora (£5.50/£2.75) and the Chargrilled Cauliflower with harissa and pomegranate (£6.50/£3.75) and they’ve also got some banging sides including freshly-baked Flatbreads (£3/£1.50) and Gunpowder Potatoes (£5/£2.50).

Chickpea Daal

If this is making you salivate all over your keyboard then get yourself booked in ASAP to claim the discount and enjoy some delicious fresh food!

It’s also been a pretty tough couple of months for the hospitality industry, so, if you are in a position to get down and treat yourself, make sure you make the most out of your experience! By that I mean 37 cocktails, 12 bottles of wine and one of everything on the menu, please.
