Wrestler’s Naan
Dishoom
The whole team went out for breakfast this week so it’s only right we went to Dishoom. This is the perfect addition to Dishoom’s breakfast menu, combining all the naans into one and definitely the type of breakfast where you get your hands dirty. Smoked streaky bacon, peppery pork saursages and a runny egg. Firstly I just want to express this is messy, massive and every mouthful is delicious. Secondly I’d like to give a special shout out to the ketchup. – James Barker

Pig on a Lead
Northern Soul Grilled Cheese
Ahh toasties. Few things in life are better then cheese melted between two crispy pieces of bread. Northern Soul have been smashing it from their small shop on Church Street for years, and now they’ve made the leap to a brand spanking new store on Tib Street. Combined with the secret and heavenly 3-blend cheese melt, mac and cheese AND BBQ pulled pork. I mean, WOW. As I write this I’m so hungover and all I want is to eat this for breakfast. – Alex Watson

Pad Krapow
Chilli B at Mackie Mayor
When we heard there was a new Thai place opening in the coolest place around, we had to pop down. The whole menu looked delicious and it’s difficult to pick the best dish. BUT, here we are. The Pad Krapow is full of tender minced chicken and plenty of veggies that still had a good crunch and lashings of basil sauce with sticky rice and a fried egg. – Rikki Chan

Roasted Squash
Bistrotheque
Quickly becoming my favourite place for a swanky dinner, Bistrotheque have smashed it out the park every time I’ve been. And this visit was no different, a delicious combo of roasted squash, squash seeds and pickled raddichio. The dish was perfectly balanced with a smooth pea puree with parsley oil and pumpkin seed that I could have had a massive bowl of. Bloody delicious. – India Morris

Nagoya Ramen
Cocktail Beer Ramen + Bun
Now I’m not usually a ramen kind of guy and I’m certainly not a broth man but I was blown away this week with the Nagoya at CBRB. A huge bowl filled with a spicy gochujang broth and noodles, with some spicy minced pork, a massive slab of tender pork belly and plenty of greens – this bad boy is phenomenal. Very impressed indeed. – Ben Brown
